Full Time General Labourer

Company Overview

JM Fabrication Ltd. is a custom welding and fabrication shop, specializing in aluminum and steel solutions. We are currently located just west of Parkhill, Ontario and serve all of Southwestern Ontario. We take pride in our work and ensure quality is at the forefront of everything we do.

We are looking for a General Labourer to join our team.

Please note that we will never participate in vaccine mandates.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist welders and fabricators with preparation, assembly, and finishing of metal parts

  • Operate hand tools, grinders, and other shop equipment safely

  • Move and position materials

  • Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and organization of the shop and tools

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Skills and Experience

  • No formal education or experience required; training provided on site

  • Must be physically able to handle materials (lift 50lbs) and work in a factory environment

  • Must have own transportation to the shop (no public transit available and shop is located on a gravel road)

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail

  • Takes pride in work and strives for continuous improvement

Salary Levels

  • $19.50

Job Type: Full-time, 42.5 hours per week: M-Th 7:00am-5:00pm, F 7:30am-12:00pm.
